How refunds work for our self-paced online classes.
This page explains how refunds work for the self-paced online classes at Wastewater Academy.
Our refund rule
You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of purchase if the student manual has not been downloaded more than once and you have not submitted the class certification quiz. After 7 days, or once the manual has been downloaded more than once or the quiz has been taken, we do not give refunds, because the class has been delivered to you.
How we check
We keep a count of manual downloads for each purchase, so we can check that part ourselves. We also keep a record of each certification quiz submitted for a purchase and each certificate issued, so we can check whether the quiz has been taken. Our free practice quizzes are not recorded and do not count.
Charged by mistake
If you were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount, tell us and we will correct it in full.
How to ask
Send a message through the Contact page. Give the name and email address used for the purchase and the class name. We reply by email.
How a refund is paid
We refund to the card or account that was used to pay. Your bank or card company sets how long it takes to show up.

Each class has one price, shown on its class page before you buy.

If a download, file or page does not work, tell us first through the Contact page. We will fix it or help you get to the content.
